What is Continuous Glucose Monitoring?

Continuous glucose monitoring, commonly called CGM, is a technology that tracks glucose levels throughout the day and night using a small wearable sensor.

The sensor is usually worn on the back of the arm and measures glucose in the fluid beneath the skin. Data is sent to a smartphone app, allowing users to view glucose patterns in real time.
